A delegation of Joint Action Committee of Graduate Engineering Associations Monday handed over a cheque of Rs five lakh to Advisor to Lt Governor, Rajeev RaiBhatnagar as a contribution to J&K Relief Fund to fight the COVID19 pandemic in J&K.
The delegation was led byFarooq Ahmed, President of JK Civil Engineering Graduates Association andincluded Firdous Ahmad Bhat, President, J&K Mechanical EngineeringGraduates Association and Ashaq Ahmad Ashaq, Secretary, JK Civil EngineeringGraduates Association.
The Advisor appreciated theeffort of the engineers in maintaining and keeping essential services such aswater and power supply, irrigation supplies and road connectivity functionalduring the tough times of COVID19.
The delegation also handedover a memorandum of issues to the Advisor which included regularization,issuance of SO for already approved ACP (Assured Career Progression Scheme) andvacant posts in all engineering departments.
The Advisor assured them that all these issues will belooked into in due time.
