Kupwara, Dec 3: An explosive was defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) after it was recovered by security forces along the Kupwara-Lolab road on Thursday afternoon.
A senior police official told Greater Kashmir that following inputs about the presence of an explosive, a search operation was jointly launched by the Army, BSF and Police, during which an explosive was found on a road near Zangli area of Kupwara. “The explosive was moved to a nearby forest and later destroyed successfully,” the police official added.
