FMPHWs demand pending salaries, hold sit-in protest

Demanding pending salaries besides redressal of other issues, the FMPHWs on Monday staged a protest dharna in the office premises of Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Doda.

The protest was also supported by J&K Government Pharmacist Association under the banner of Jammu & Kashmir Medical Employees federation.

   

The FMPHWs have been protesting since the last 28 days in support of their demands which include release of pending salaries, promotional benefits/DPC pending since 10 years, with creation of LHV posts, fixation wor and allotment of 50% quota at par health educator.

MLA Doda, Shakti Raj Parihar visited the dharna spot  and had a patient hearing to the demands and problems faced by  FMPHWs.

He assured them that their issues would be taken up at the appropriate forum for redresaal.

Hoshiar Singh Rukwal, Doda  district president, Jammu & Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, while addressing the gathering argued upon the government to resolve the burning demands of the FMPHWs with immediate effect.
