State government on Friday notified rates of honorarium to be paid to CAPF and SAP personnel for Lok Sabha poll duty.
As per an order, the gazzetted officers, including assistantcommandant, medical officer and deputy commandant shall be paid Rs 2500 forpoll duty of 15 or less than 15 days while for a duty of more than 15 days,they will be paid honorarium at the rate of Rs 1250 per week.
Similarly, the subordinate officers, including assistantsub-inspector, sub-inspector and inspector shall be paid Rs 200 for duty of 15or less than 15 days and in case their duty period exceeds 15 days, they willbe paid Rs 1000 per week. Constables and head-constables shall be paid Rs 1500for a duty period of 15 or less than 15 days while they will be paid Rs 750 perweek if their duty period exceeds 15 days.
