Specially abled aspirants for JKPSC Combined Competitive Exams have demanded reservation in the examinations.

They staged protest at Press Enclave here to press for resolution of their demands.

“We have been fighting for our rights despite constant disappointments but again the authorities have put us in a dilemma. After the notification issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission for the Combined Competitive Exams 2021, it is clear that the government is neglecting our existence in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir,” said Shahid Aziz Naik one of the aspirants.

He said that there is reservation for every category but the reservation for us has not been mentioned anywhere in the notification.

“We appeal the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and the concerned authorities to redress our genuine demands and reserve the seats in JKPSC for our category,” they said.

Meanwhile, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission said that the final notification will be issued soon
