Kashmir dispute Himalayan fact: DFP

Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) today said the Kashmir dispute was a Himalayan fact.

“New Delhi must shun its stand of arrogance and accept the internationally acknowledged right to self determination of the people of the disputed region. People of Jammu Kashmir are struggling for their genuine right ever since 1947 when the sub-continent was divided on two nation theory. Unfortunately Kashmiri people are suffering at the hands of a country which claims to be the largest democracy,” a DFP spokesman said in a statement. The spokesman paid rich tributes to militants, Liaqat Ahmad of Bellow and Wajid ul Islam of Babehar, Pulwama who were killed in a gunfight with government forces at Tikken village.  “It is our collective responsibility to take the mission of our youth forward so that their sacrifices are safeguarded,” he said.
