Kishtwar accident Advisor Ganai, Mehbooba, Tarigami, NC leaders, others grieved

Governor’s advisor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in a road accident at Dandaran, near Thakrai in Kishtwar district on Friday morning.

Expressing his heartfelt condolence with the bereaving families, the advisor prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. He also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the accident.

   

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president and former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti  in her condolence message  described the deaths in the accident as unfortunate and tragic. She also conveyed her sympathies to the families of those killed in the accident.

National Conference leaders Devender Singh Rana, former minister and MLC Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, former minister Khalid Najeeb Suharwardhy, provincial president Youth National Conference Ajaz Jan and Tanveer Kichloo  conveyed their condolences to the families, who lost their dear ones in the tragic accident, and prayed for peace to the departed souls.

They expressed concern over growing number of accidents in the area and called for putting in place effective road safety measures to save precious lives.

Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), vice-president  and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori expressed extreme grief and sorrow over loss of innocent lives.

Chairman PDF and MLA, Khansahib Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic road accident  and urged for the need to ensure all the required safety measures enroute Batote-Kishtwar-Doda-Bhaderwah route for the passengers.

Expressing deep grief over road accident MLA Langate Er Rasheed accused successive governments of depriving people of Chenab valley of basic immunities including roads. 

CPI (M) leader and MLA Kulgam M Y Tarigami expressed grief over the loss of human lives in the accident  and urged government to provide free medical treatment to the injured persons and ex-gratia relief to families of the deceased.
