Panic after aerial firing in Watrgam

Panic gripped Watrgam area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday evening when soldiers of Seema Suraksha Bal (SSB) fired in air.

Following the incident, a police party was rushed to the area to ascertain the facts.

“The situation is normal in the area. Some shots were fired after suspicious movement was noticed,” said a police official.
