‘Religion a personal affair, maintaining brotherhood our duty’

National Conference, President, and Member of Parliament, Dr Farooq Abdullah on Sunday said that “people were living in troubling times.”

“I think, these are the troubling times and we have to pass through it (Yeh Kayamat kadaur haiaur is se hameguzranahai),” Farooq Abdullah said, while indirectly referring to the present scenario in Jammu and Kashmir.

   

He was accompanied by National Conference, Provincial President, Devender Singh Rana, and other leaders from the party and Gujjar leaders. The NC President released a book on the life of Former Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badashah University (BGSBU) Rajouri, DrMasud Ahmed Choudhary.

The biography of Dr Masud Ahmed Chaudhary has been compiled by Ghani Ghayoor and Dr Shams Kamal Anjum which was released on Sunday here.

Lauding Masud Chaudhary’s contributions in social and educational awakening of the Gujjar community, Dr Abdullah hoped that “Better days may come for the people of the world so that humans can become human, human love human irrespective of one’s religious identity.”
