Secretary Education to hear public grievances every Thursday at DSEK

Secretary School Education Farooq Ahmad Shah along with other officers from administrative department will listen to the public grievances and issue on spot instructions for their redressal on every Thursday.

In a handout issued here, the director school education Kashmir (DSEK) G N Itoo said the public hearing will be held from 11 am to 2 pm in the conference hall of the Directorate.

   

Pertinently, Itoo also convened a meeting to review the progress of the implementation of the recent instructions of governor of J&K N N Vohra and to review the arrangements for the conduct of term 1st examination.

Itoo sought progress report from all the officers regarding the implementation of the seven point instructions issued by Governor earlier.

“The biometric attendance has been made compulsory for the attendance of all the employees and salary of employees should be strictly drawn as per biometric attendance,” Itoo said in meeting.

During the meeting DSEK also reviewed the arrangements for the conduct of Term 1st examinations commencing from June 25 in all the districts of Kashmir division including Leh and Kargil.

Principal State Institute of Education (SIE) Kashmir MehboobHussain gave a detailed briefing to DSEK regarding the arrangements put in place to for conducting the examinations.

In the meeting, DSEK announced postponement of class 9th exams citing some technical reasons.
