Security personnel celebrate Deepawali in Jammu, Rajouri

Jammu, Nov 12: Border Security Force personnel celebrated Deepawali with the members of Seema Jan Kalyan Samiti in Arnia area of Jammu on Sunday.

The area had recently witnessed unprovoked Pakistan firing and shelling.

   

The celebrations took place at Vikram Border Out Post, where two BSF jawans had sustained injuries during Pak firing in October this year.

BSF soldiers along with Samiti members lit candles, Diyas amid exchange of sweets and later worshipped Goddess Lakshmi.

Meanwhile in Rajouri’s Nowshera area also, the army soldiers celebrated Deepawali with great fervour and festivity.
On Saturday, CRPF personnel of 76th Battalion had celebrated the festival with gaiety by lighting candles, Diyas and bursting crackers.
