A sentry at Lurgam area of Traltownship in Pulwama district on Tuesday evening fired few rounds in air after noticing some suspicious movement, police said.
Senior superintendent of police Awantipora, Muhammad Zahid Malik said that the sentry deployed at Army’s 42-RR unit at Lurgam fired some shots to dispel the suspicion. “Searches have been launched in the area,” he added.
