Shutdown was observed at Soura area here on city outskirts and its adjoining areas to mark the first death anniversary of slain militant of Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen Esa Fazili, who was killed in an encounter at Hakoora area of Anantnag district on this day last year.
All shops and othercommercial establishments remained closed in Soura, Anchaar, Ahmed Nagar,90-feet road to remember Fazili on this first death anniversary. The trafficmovement in these areas also remained thin.
