Srinagar: SSP Shopian Apritpal Singh Monday chaired a review meeting at District Police Office Shopian with all DySPs and SHOs of the district.
A statement of J&K Police issued here said that during the meeting, SSP Shopian held a detailed discussion on all fronts including security scenario, law and order, investigation, crime and complaints disposal, anti-militancy operations, drug dealing, extraction of minerals and other issues.
It said that the SSP Shopian also stressed upon officers to redress public grievances on top priority in a time-bound manner.
The statement said that he also emphasised on strengthening the Police-Public relationship.
It said that he also directed the officers to finalise the pending cases and public complaints within shortest possible time on merit.
