Authorities on Friday retrieved state land from encroachers at Humhama in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A team led by Budgam tehsildar Nusrat Aziz retrieved a hugechunk of Kah-charie at Friend’s enclave Humhama. The land measuring 6 kanal and7 malras had been encroached by installing iron wiring. The officials removedthe wiring and iron-gate and took the land in their possession. A hoarding wasinstalled that land is under possession of naib tehsildar and trespassers shallface strict action as per law. The authorities said that the land retrieved isworth Rs 18 crore.
