A “speeding” tractor allegedly crushed a woman to death in Jaglanoo village, police said Friday.
They said, “At about 12:30 pm, a speeding tractor-trolleycrushed a woman at Jaglanoo village on the Budhal-Rajouri road. The woman wasreportedly trying to cross the road when the tractor ran over her.”
The deceased has been identified as Fatima Bi, wife of LateSain Mohammad and a resident of Gundi-Khawas village of Kotranka.
Soon after the accident, station house officer Kandi, MustajAhmed, reached the spot and shifted the body to the local hospital, whereinmedico-legal formalities were conducted.
An FIR has been registered, police said, adding that asearch operation has been launched to nab the driver.
