District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana on Friday ordered to withhold the salaries of 115 employees of different government departments for their unauthorized absence from the duty.
The employees whose salaries have been stopped are from Middle School Nali, Middle School Chakroon, Middle School Suldah, High School Bhatkoot, Primary School Hasti, Middle School Kandni, Primary School Chadra, High School Nagbhatna, High School Kuntwara, Middle School Piyakul, Primary School Bachi Basti, ZEO Marwah, Middle School Nowgam, and Middle School Kiyar.
Apart from this, the employees whose salaries have been withheld are from Government Degree College Marwah, Block Develeopment Office Marwah, Inderwal, Bonjwah, Primary Health Center Nali, Primary Health Center Dhar, health center Marwah, PHE (Hydraulic Sub Division Chatroo), PDD (EM&RE sub division Chatroo), social welfare (TSWO Chatroo and Marwah), ICDS ( Anganwari Centre Mughalmaidan, Angwanwari Centre Khwajgm-B, Centre Mochi Mohalla Ralthal, CDPO Office Marwah), ISM (Ayurvedic Dispensary Nagbhata, Unanai Centre Bhadat), Revenue (Tehsil Office Marwah), Agriculture (SDO Agriculture Marwah), Animal Husbandry (Vetenary Centre Nagbhatna) and Forest Department (DFO Marwah office).
The employees were found to be absent from their duties without any prior permission.
The action came after the surprise inspections were conducted on the directions of DDC Kishtwar in various government offices working at district, sub division, tehsil and block levels by different teams on 3rd of July 2018.
“On the basis of inputs received from the inspecting officers some government offices were either found closed or in some cases the offices were found opened but no officer/officials were found present which is a deep concern and warrants strict action,” the order of DDC reads.
In the backdrop of above facts, the salary of all the officers/officials are kept withheld with immediate effect till pending enquiry, the order reads.
