Wild bear, cubs rescued in  Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Nov 14 : A wild black bear with two cubs Tuesday descended into a populated village of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district causing panic among the residents.

A wildlife official said that a wild bear (female) with her two cubs was spotted by locals in Ganderbal who informed the wildlife department. He said amid panic about the presence of the wild bear nearby, the wildlife team, managed to rescue both the cubs. “Traps will be laid to catch hold of the mother bear as well,” the wildlife official said.
