A wine shop was put on fire by the protestors on Sunday morning demanding shifting of the shop from Badyal Brahmana, R S Pura.
“The villagers of Badyal Brahmana were demanding shifting of wine shop from the locality for past some time,” police here said.
They said that a protest was staged on Sunday morning and later the shop was put on fire.
“We have registered a case and some of the persons who spearheaded the protest and provoked villagers to put shop on fire will also be arrested,” they added.
