In a minor administrative rejig, seven Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers have been transferred and posted with immediate effect.
As per GAD order, Rifat Aftab Qureshi, Joint Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Rural Development, Kashmir has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Wullar-Manasbal.
Dr Tahir Firdous Dutta, Additional Secretary Power Development Department has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner (Central) in the office of Financial Commissioner (Revenue), against an available vacancy.
Deepika Rana, Additional Secretary Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Jammu Urban Development Agency, relieving Puneet Sharma, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu of the additional charge of the post.
Riyaz Ahmad Shah, Joint Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, holding additional charge of Additional Chief Executive Officer, Smart City, Srinagar and Chief Executive Officer, Urban Development Agency, Kashmir has been transferred and posted as Joint Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Rural Development,
Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Wullar-Manasbal has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation.
Muhammad Rashid, awaiting orders of posting in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Joint Director, Youth Services and Sports, Kashmir, against an available vacancy.
Fareed Ahmad Kohli, General Manager, DIC, Rajouri, will hold the charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Rajouri, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
