In connection with International Women’s Day, various functions were held across Kashmir today.
International Women’s daywas celebrated with enthusiasm indifferent parts of Leh district with main function held at main bazaar Lehtownship.
DeputyCommissioner / CEO LAHDC Leh Avny Lavasa was the chief guest and Dr.YangchanDolma guest of honour at the function organised jointly by All Ladakh Women’sAssociation of Ladakh Buddhist Association Women’s Wing, Ladakh Women WelfareNetwork, Ladakh Women Alliance, Anjuman-E-Imamia Women’s Wing, Christian WomenWing, Anjuman-Moin-Ul-Islam Women Wing, and J&K Cultural Academy Leh.
