A policeman was injured critically after militants attackedpolice post Chanapora in Srinagar district of central Kashmir on Fridayevening.
Official sources told GNS that the militants opened fire upon the police post. In the incident, a policeman, identified as Feroz Ahmad suffered critical injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

SDPO Sadder Shabir Khan also confirmed the attack andinjuries to one cop.
Sources said that the militants after carrying out theattack managed to escape from the area.
Soon after the attack, government forces launched a hunt tonab the assailants.
