Pakistan on Wednesday said it arrested an alleged Indian spy from a house in Kahna area of Lahore, a media report said today.
Dawn News said that the police and a sensitive agency nabbed the spy, identified as Afzal, in a joint operation on Tuesday after a tip-off regarding his alleged links with an Indian spy agency.
He was shifted to an undisclosed place for questioning, the report said.
Afzal, a resident of New Delhi, had arrived in Karachi illegally and later shifted to Lahore, said an official.
He is being questioned by the law enforcement agencies, the police official said, adding that action would be taken against him on the basis of evidence, the report added.
