A Biman Bangladesh Airlines plane en route to Dubai from Dhaka made an emergency landing at the Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong following a hijacking attempt, Gulf News reported.
Media reports have pointed to one crew member being shot and passengers evacuated from the site, it said.
The suspected hijackers are still aboard the plane and details are awaited. Police and the Rapid Action Battalion have arrived at the airport.
