A seven year old boy was mauled and killed by a buffalo in Ladote village of Rajouri on Sunday, witnesses said.
The boy was identified as Nadeem Ahmed, son of MohammadSadiq.
Police said they received information that the boy wascrushed by a buffalo near his house in the village.
He was shifted to the emergency ward of GMC-AssociatedHospital Rajouri around 11am with grievous injuries where he succumbed.
“We have also started a probe to ascertain the actualcause of death,” said police.
