After a two-day lull along the Line of Control, the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged gunfire in Poonch and Nowshera sectors on Wednesday.
In Gulpur forward area of Poonch, firing started at about 10am and continued till late afternoon, reports said, adding that duringcross-border firing, both sides exchanged small as well as heavy mortar shellsand explosions rattled the areas along the Line of Control
No loss of life of injury was reported in the exchange, officials said.
