Incarcerated Bita Karate’s father passes away

Ghulam Rasool Dar, father of incarcerated chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (R) Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bita Karate, passed away on Saturday. 

Ghulam Rasool Dar died after brief illness . Resident of Suthra Shai, Karan Nagar was ailing for last few days, a spokesman of JKLF ( R) said in a statement. 

   

He said that JKLF ( R ) leaders including its chief patron Barrister Abdul  Majid Trambu , Advocate  Ayoub Rathor and Wajahat Bashir Qureshi have paid rich tributes to departed soul. “Farooq Ahmad Dar since his detention is facing tremendous hardships and miseries. A few months his  mother also left for heavenly abode,” he added.

Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise. “Bita Karate’s mother also died recently when he was in Tihar jail and as today at the demise of his father, he has not been allowed to participate in funeral prayers,” Malik said.

 JKLF chairman along with a delegation comprising of Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Javed Ahmad Zargar, Muhammad Salim Nanaji, Mushtaq Ajmal, Muhammad Yasin Butt and others visited his residence and participated in his funeral prayers.
