Two army soldiers were injured in Kandi area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district when the rifle of a soldier accidentally went off on Thursday, police said.
The injured soldiers have been identified as Lakhwinder Singh and Mahinder Singh of 47-Rashtriya Rifles. The injured soldiers were rushed to a nearby hospital where they were shifted to army’s 92-base hospital Srinagar for specialised treatment.
