Suspected militants on Thursday afternoon attacked joint party of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and J&K Police at Kadalbal area of Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A senior police offical told the news agency KNO that the militants lobbed grenade and opened fire on the joint party of CRPF and J&K police in Kadalbal.
However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
He said that entire area has been cordoned off and a search operation launched to track down the attackers.
