The Cultural Committee of Islamia College of Science and Commerce organised a theme-based run – ‘run for a healthy culture’ for girls from Nehru Park to SKICC here on Friday.
The Principal of college, Prof. Dr Sheikh Ajaz Bashirflagged-off the run focused on highlighting the importance of health for womenfolk.
Convener Cultural Committee Prof. Uheedah Shah talked aboutthe importance of women health stressing upon the change in culture tostrengthen families, societies and ultimately nations.
The run was supported by Director Physical Education Dr Altaf ur Rehman and team, besides Prof. DrNusrat Parveen and Safdar Pandit of cultural Committee.
