Soldier injured in Sopore militant attack

An army soldier sustained injuries when militants attacked a naka party on Sopore-Srinagar highway at Hygham Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district Wednesday afternoon.

An official identified the soldier as Roshan Singh of 15 Garh rifles. The injured soldier was taken to MI hospital for treatment where his condition is said to be stable.

   

SSP Sopore Javeed Iqbal said that the militants managed to escape from the spot after firing at the naka party.
