Nahida Manzoor, the young women mountaineer from Kashmir was on Saturday flagged off for her journey to scale Mount Everest.
She was flagged off by the Harmukh Adventurers team for theexpedition at the Srinagar, Airport.
Among the others present on the occasion were senior trekkerManzoor Mir and the founder of TheHarmukh Adventurers team Danish Dhaar.
Nahida who is a trained Mountaineer intends to scale world’shighest mountain Mount Everest. For her journey she was able to generatesponsorships from TCI Max, J&K State Sports Council, and DistrictCommissioner Srinagar after she started crowd funding campaign.
