Srinagar June 7: A 31-year-old mentally challenged man was killed in a road accident at Ashmuji in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday afternoon.
Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that the man was hit by a dumper vehicle near Mirpora Ashmuji and was immediately rushed to DH Kulgam for treatment, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The official identified the deceased as Rayees Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Ganie Bhat, a resident of Mirpora Ashmuji.
The official said that a case has been registered in this regard.
