Since Azad lobby in Congress was very strong and vast, their departure is weakening the party further.
PDP general secretary Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura while talking to media persons today said, "Azad sahab is a towering political leader and he is welcome back to J&K."
Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, a close confidant of Azad, said that 2500 leaders and workers including former ministers and legislators have already joined their yet to be formed party.

Dr Abdullah regretted he not having listened to the advice of his father not to join politics. “ He advised me not to join politics but I did not listen to him and was adamant,” he said.
He was a strong bridge between the family of NC founder Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and their party leaders, workers, and supporters.
