President of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad on Monday talked to director Srinagar Airport regarding inconvenience caused to foreign tourists there at the time arrival.
According to a KCCI statement, the director informed SheikhAshiq Ahmad that cognizance had already been taken of the earlierrepresentation of the chamber in this regard.
The director informed that a meeting had already beenconvened and necessary directions had been issued. Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad Informedthe Director that the issue had also been taken up with the Director TourismDepartment, Kashmir who was requested toprovide equipments for simplification of foreign tourist registration process.
All the foreigners need to register themselves at Srinagarairport and other entry points, while arriving in Jammu and Kashmir.
