Srinagar, Oct 29: A French delegation on Friday met with faculty members and officials from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Srinagar to examine possible cooperation interests between the NIFT Srinagar and the higher educational institutions in France, said a statement.
The team comprised of Emmanuel Lebrun-Damiens, Counselor for Education, Science and Culture at Embassy of France in India (COCAC), also Country Director, French Institute in India and Dr Nicolas Gherardi, Deputy Counselor for Education, Science and Culture at Embassy of France in India (COCAC), the statement said. Director NIFT Srinagar, Dr Javid Ahmad Wani highlighted the institute’s academic and professional accomplishments through his presentation.
The delegation elaborated on the kind of collaborative projects that can be extended to the NIFT.
