BJP disappointed people of Chenab Valley: Harsh Dev

After filling nomination from Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat, Harsh Dev Singh, chairman of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP), visited Bhaderwah and appealed various sections of society, particularly the youth, students and traders, to vote and support his party in the forthcoming elections to stop “discrimination” with Chenab Valley.

Harsh Dev was accompanied by other party leaders, includingstate vice-president Choudhary Mohammad Iqbal, district youth president NeerajSingh Manhas, state secretary Gagan Pratap Singh and state union generalsecretary Parshotam Parihar.

   

While seeking support, the leaders conducted door-to-doorcampaign and visited several shops located in and around Bhaderwah town. Theyalso took out a rally, which started from Seri Bazaar and after passing throughLakshmi Narayan Chowk and Khalru Market, culminated at Old Hospital, Bhaderwah.

While speaking to media persons, the JKNPP chairman said,”Having experimented with BJP, Congress, NC and PDP and after giving given themample opportunities to prove their concern for Chenab Valley, the people havebeen extremely demoralized. They are a neglected lot even after having anabundance of natural resources.”

He alleged, “The role of BJP in particular has disappointedthe people of Chenab Valley to the extent that their faith in the politicalsystem has been shattered.”

“The people now eagerly look towards JKNPP, which is theonly ray of hope for the hilly region. JKNPP has the courage and conviction tofight for Jammu and to give it effective leadership. We have always pursuedvalue-based politics and have stuck to our guns ever since the launch of theparty in 1982,” he maintained.

While appealing to voters, Harsh Dev said, “Gives usone chance to prove our worth, our sincerity to provide justice to the region,which has an abundance of potential in tourism and natural resources but hadbeen neglected by all successive governments.”

Later, the JKNPP leaders proceeded towards Bhalla area ofDoda, where they urged upon the public to cast their vote in favour of theparty’s candidate for overall development of the area.
