About the Programme:

The Cadence Scholarship program, supported by Cadence Design Systems Private Limited & Concern India Foundation, targets retaining talented students from less privileged backgrounds in the academic cycle for better livelihood opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to Indian nationals residing and studying in Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Pune, or Ahmedabad.

For Undergraduate courses: Minimum 60% overall score in Class 12 or equivalent (students currently in Class 12 can also apply based on their previous academic performance).

For Postgraduate courses: Graduation completed or in the final year of graduation. Must come from a lower-income group.

Preference given to students pursuing STEM-related courses, female students, specially-abled individuals, and transgender students who meet the eligibility criteria.

Required Documents:

Details of two non-related references willing to provide recommendations.

Recent passport-size photograph of the applicant.

Chulalongkorn University Scholarship 2024 is inviting international students to pursue higher education in Thailand without financial worries. The scholarship, which fully funds academic pursuits, acknowledges exceptional students globally for their academic prowess and commitment to learning. It covers Master’s (2 years) and Doctoral (3 years) programs, each with specific application deadlines. For the first semester of the 2024 academic year, the deadline is May 13, 2024.

Being a prominent institution in Thailand, Chulalongkorn University aims to promote global collaboration by welcoming students from ASEAN and Non-ASEAN nations.

The scholarship encompasses full tuition fee coverage, accommodation, and a monthly stipend of 16,000 Baht. Additionally, it provides round-trip airfare based on regions:

ASEAN countries: 8,500 Baht per leg

Asian countries: 12,000 Baht per leg

Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Africa: 20,000 Baht per leg

North and South America: 30,000 Baht per leg

Eligibility criteria includes being an international graduate student, with applicants from both ASEAN and Non-ASEAN countries eligible. Faculty members, researchers, and academic staff are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be newly enrolled with no more than one semester completed at Chulalongkorn University as graduate students. Their previous degree should align with the chosen program for the scholarship, with minimum grade requirements of 2.75 for undergraduate studies and 3.25 for graduate studies, and age under 40. Proficiency in English, demonstrated by a TOEFL score of at least 500 or an IELTS score of at least 5.0, is mandatory.

Applicants must also be in good health, and employment during the degree program within the country is not permitted.

Required documents include a completed application form, a passport-sized photo, a resume or CV, official academic transcripts, a graduation certificate (if applicable), a passport photocopy, two recommendation letters, and a medical certificate from the applicant’s home country.
