At least 6 persons including four children lost their lives after a boat capsized in Gandbal area of Srinagar district on Tuesday. According to locals, the absence of footbridge in the locality led to this tragic incident. They said the work on the bridge was started 8 years ago, but due to unknown reasons the bridge is yet to be completed. They appealed to the authorities to investigate and expose the officials behind the “murder” of school-going children.
