Stitch-less endoscopic spine surgery has given a new lease of life to a patient with severe backache.
According to a statement, “patient name Shameema Ashraf, Age-51 years (Female), a resident of Srinagar, was suffering from Severe Backache along with pain in right leg from last 1 year. Gradually her pain increased so much, that she was unable to walk nicely & was able to walk only few minutes, from some time she developed right side foot drop. When they met Dr. Trivedi (Head of Spine Masters Unit) in Jalandhar. Dr Trivedi told that she is having right side lateral stenosis at L4-L5 level, with help of Endoscopic Spine Surgery under local Anesthesia: She was operated. Post surgery there was no leg pain & walking well. Dr. Trivedi told that Endoscopic Spine Surgery (Stitch less) is future in spine surgery being very less invasive: it is a day care procedure. Patient can be discharged on same day or next day”.
