Judicial officers to monitor J&K civil services (judicial) mains exam

The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Wednesday nominated judicial officers for monitoring the conduct of Jammu and Kashmir civil service (judicial) mains examination.

An order issued from the office of registrar general, SanjayDhar, read, “The Jammu and Kashmir public service commission has, by virtue ofnotification issued on December 29, 2018, notified the dates to conduct theJammu and Kashmir civil service (judicial) mains examination, 2018. As per thenotification, the examination has to be conducted simultaneously at Jammu andSrinagar with effect from March 23, 2019 to April 4, 2019.”

   

It further states, “Since, the High Court of Jammu andKashmir is the indenting department so the conduct of examination at all thecentres in a fair and transparent manner has to be ensured by the High Court.In this regard, the four judicial officers are nominated for monitoring theconduct of the examination at the centres, by conducting surprise visit(s) atany time during the examination.”

As per the order, Yash Paul Bourney, special judge,anti-corruption, Jammu, and Nighat Sultana, ADJ bank cases, Jammu, have beennominated as the judicial officers for the examination to be held at J&Kpublic service commission examination hall, Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar,Jammu.Similarly, Parvez Hussain Kachru, ADJ Srinagar,and S R Gandhi, 4th ADJ Srinagar, have been nominated as the judicial officersfor the exam at J&K public service commission examination hall, Solina,Srinagar.
