24 NIT Srinagar students test COVID positive

Srinagar Apr 9: Twenty-four students at the National Institute of Technology Srinagar tested COVID -19 positive on Saturday, officials said.

An official communique issued to this effect by Block Medical Officer Hazratbal to HOD Social and Preventive Medicine Government Medical College Srinagar recommended that the campus be declared as a micro containment zone.

   

As per BMO Hazratbal, the 24 students tested COVID positive during a RAT testing of 47 students at the institute today.
