Azad expresses grief over demise of prominent industrialist Syed Iqbal Bukhari

Srinagar, Nov 15: Senior Congress leader and former chief minister of J&K, Ghulam Nabi Azad has expressed grief on the sad demise of prominent industrialist and businessman Syed Muhammad Iqbal Bukhari.

“I am deeply pained to learn about the sad demise of Syed Iqbal Bukhari. We have lost a pious man. I offer my heartfelt condolences to Mr. Altaf Bukhari and other bereaved family members. May God give them enough courage to bear this loss. I also pray for the departed soul. May God place him in the choicest Jannah,” said Azad, in a statement.

   

Iqbal Bukhari, who was the chairman of FIL industries and the father of Apni Party president Altaf Bukhari, passed away yesterday after brief illness at SKIMS Soura. He was 89.
