Kupwara: A branch of a willow tree fell on a car in Handwara’s main market, resulting in damage to its front windshield.
However, no loss of life or injuries was reported.
An official said that the incident occurred on Friday.
He said that the car belongs to an employee of J&K Bank who had parked it near the Fish Market.
Meanwhile, people have appealed to the authorities to cut down all decayed trees in Handwara to thwart such incidents in the future.
