Anantnag, Jan 29: Deputy Commissioner AnantnagPiyushSingla Saturday ordered a deduction of a one-day salary of 32 employees found absent in the south Kashmir district on Saturday.
The order came after a surprise inspection by the deputy commissioner, accompanied by ADC AnantnagGhulam Hassan Sheikh, to various offices to check the attendance of the employees.
“A day’s salary has been deducted and a disciplinary action has also been initiated against the absentee employees,” the DC said.
