Fake SIM card racket busted in Baramulla, three arrested: police

Srinagar Nov 15: Police on Monday claimed to have busted a fake SIM card racket by arresting three men in north Kashmir’s Baramulla.

Police in a handout said that the accuser Owais Farooq Waza son of Farooq Ahmad Waza of Mohalla Jamia Baramulla, Suhail Aziz Mir son of Abdul Aziz of Suhail Colony Baramulla and Javid Ahmad Kanjwal son of Abdul Ahad, a resident of Jalal Sahib Baramulla who were issuing fake SIM card after managing forged documents for issuance of the cards.

   

Some incriminating material including mobile phones along with SIM cards, electronic gadgets and documents have been recovered from their possession, police said adding a case under sections of UA (P) Act and IPC stands registered against them in Police Station Baramulla and investigation set in motion.
