Govt modifies J&K business rules, transfer policy

Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday ordered some modifications in state’s business rules and transfer policy.

As per a circular issued by  Hilal Ahmed, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government General Administrative Department, an SRO 479 was published to bring partial modification of notification SRO 307 dated 11th July, 2018. ” In pursuance of Section 2 of the Jammu and Kashmir delegation of powers act, 2018 (Governor’s Act No. 1 of 2018), and in partial modification of notification SRO 307 dated 11th July, 2018, read with notification SRO 281 dated 23rd June, 2018, the Governor  has made some amendments,” it reads.

   

“Every transfer proposal shall be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir business rules and transfer policy notified vide government order No. 861-GAD of 2010 dated July, 28, 2010,” the order reads.

“Provided that the transfer proposals in respect of Item No. I and II of clause D of the aforesaid transfer policy shall be submitted to the Head of the Departments. Proposals in respect to item No. 1 shall be governed by the transfer policy of 2010 and the item No. IV and V shall be submitted to the administrative department for decision,” it said.
