Srinagar Jan 12: A gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in the Pariwan area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday night.
“Encounter has started at Pariwan area of #Kulgam. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow, ” a police spokesman said.
The number of militants trapped in the area was not immediately known.
