Kupwara: Gusty winds damaged a residential house at Sarmarg area Rajwar in Handwara on Saturday.
An official said that the strong winds swept away roof top of a house. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
He said that the house belong to Naseer Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Mohi-u-din Mir resident of Sarmarg Handwara.
The locals have demanded compensation for the house owner so that he can reconstruct the roof top of his house.
