A family in Langate, which claims that their missing son is among the five militants killed in August 8 Rafiabad gunfight, on Monday staged a protest to demand his mortal remains.
Dozens of locals joined the relatives and family members of the slain militant at main market Langate to demand body of Muzaffer Ahmad son of Bashir Ahmad Mir.
Reports said that the protesters blocked Baramulla-Handwara highway. All the shops and other business establishments were closed in the area.
Father of the slain militant claimed that he had provided the sample for DNA test twice, but there was no headway.
